As part of its monthly first-Sunday walkers’ health programme, Sriram Super Speciality Hospital conducted a free multi-specialty health camp at Rangarayudu Cheruvu (Rangaraayudu Cheruvu), Ongole. The camp was led with the participation of Dr. Chapala Vamsi Krishna, Chief Joint Replacement Surgeon.
Around 150 patients received free screenings valued at approximately Rs. 7,000 per person, covering blood pressure, blood sugar, ECG, haemoglobin, bone mineral density, advanced eye tests, foot neuropathy screening, and lung function tests.
All specialists examined patients and provided counselling and follow-up advice on the spot.
Bringing free diagnostics to walkers at Rangarayudu Cheruvu helps detect diabetes, heart risk, bone weakness, and vision problems early—before they become emergencies.
Medical student Yashwitha, who is pursuing medical education in the United States, volunteered at the camp. She observed patient care workflows with the doctors and actively supported camp organisation.
